This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Provide both reactive and proactive service engagements within the Asia Pacific and Japan region.
• Take charge of incident response engagements.
• Conduct advanced host and/or network-based forensics across Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.
• Offer guidance to organizations as they address activities from threat actors.
• Generate high-quality written and verbal reports, presentations, recommendations, and findings for customer management.
• Communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Exhibit industry thought leadership through blog posts, CrowdCasts, and various public speaking engagements.
• Mentor, support, and manage less experienced team members.
• Collaborate with teams throughout the APJ region.
• Experience in conducting or overseeing incident response investigations for organizations, particularly against targeted threats like Advanced Persistent Threats, Organized Crime, and Hacktivists.
• Background in utilizing a range of forensic analysis tools during incident response investigations to assess the extent and nature of compromises.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and network analysis tools, with the capability to analyze related network logs.
• In-depth knowledge of targeted attacks and the ability to devise tailored tactical and strategic remediation plans.
• Familiarity with threat intelligence and adversary attribution and their application in incident response.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in composing and presenting technical content to senior executives as well as technical and non-technical groups.
• Demonstrated experience in applying AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and achieve business outcomes.
• Candidates must reside in Australia.

• GIAC Certified Forensics Analyst (GCFA), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), or similar certifications are preferred but not required.
