Senior Identity Security Engineer – Remote, LATAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, secure, and enhance hybrid Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID environments.

• Evaluate and address identity security threats, privileged access challenges, and authentication weaknesses.

• Spearhead modernization projects involving NTLM, Kerberos, Conditional Access, SAML, OIDC, and SCIM.

• Implement and manage identity governance processes, including Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML), entitlement management, and access reviews.

• Configure and integrate Microsoft Defender for Identity, Sentinel, and Identity Protection.

• Create identity security standards, strategic roadmaps, and technical recommendations.

• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to enhance identity architecture and operational maturity.

• Assist with audits, compliance efforts, and security evaluations.

• Oversee the design, security, and modernization of the organization's identity platform across Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and cloud security services.

• Strengthen identity security, diminish legacy authentication risks, enhance governance, and support Zero Trust initiatives across hybrid environments.

• Convert security requirements into scalable identity solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM).

• Extensive experience with Active Directory.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).

• Proficient in Hybrid Identity.

• Strong background in Conditional Access.

• Significant experience with Privileged Identity Management (PIM).

• In-depth experience with Microsoft Defender for Identity.

• Well-versed in Microsoft Sentinel.

• Familiarity with SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SCIM.

• Proficient in PowerShell scripting and automation techniques.

• Experience in implementing identity governance and privileged access controls.

• Understanding of Zero Trust security principles and Microsoft security best practices.

• Preferred: Microsoft Certifications (SC-300, SC-200, AZ-500, SC-100).

• Preferred: CISSP or an equivalent security certification.

• Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Purview, CyberArk, SailPoint, or Okta.

• Preferred: Experience supporting enterprise security and compliance initiatives.
