Senior Identity Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise IAM solutions across Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, AWS, Azure, and SaaS applications.

• Lead the design, engineering, and operational support for authentication, authorization, federation, SSO, MFA, lifecycle management, and privileged access services.

• Develop identity standards, reference architectures, and engineering best practices that align with Zero Trust principles.

• Create and execute secure identity integrations for cloud platforms, applications, APIs, and third-party services.

• Design and implement identity controls for AI platforms and services, ensuring secure authentication, authorization, workload identities, API security, and access governance.

• Collaborate with security and engineering teams to enforce identity controls for AI agents, copilots, machine identities, and service accounts.

• Engineer and maintain identity governance capabilities, including Joiner-Mover-Leaver processes, access reviews, RBAC, and privileged identity management.

• Work with infrastructure, cloud, application, and security teams to embed identity into enterprise solutions and cloud architectures.

• Assist with identity-related security initiatives, incident response, and ongoing improvement activities.

• Assess new IAM technologies, conducting proof-of-concepts and security benchmarking.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in designing and implementing enterprise IAM solutions.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Okta, AWS IAM, and Azure identity services.

• Proficient in implementing SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SCIM, and modern authentication protocols.

• Strong grasp of Zero Trust, identity governance, privileged access management, and cloud security best practices.

• Experience securing modern identity architectures for cloud environments, SaaS, APIs, and AI-enabled applications.

• Knowledge of identity security considerations related to Generative AI and AI agents.

• Background in integrating SaaS applications with enterprise identity providers.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and automation using PowerShell, Python, or similar languages is preferred.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Relevant certifications in Microsoft, Okta, AWS, Azure Identity, or cloud security are preferred.

• Experience with identity governance and administration (IGA) platforms is preferred.

• Background in supporting hybrid identity environments and large-scale cloud migrations is preferred.
