Senior IAM Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and manage enterprise IAM, SSO, MFA, and Privileged Access Management systems.

• Create and enhance automated provisioning and deprovisioning workflows, access request processes, and lifecycle operations.

• Deliver advanced tier 3 support, perform root-cause analysis, and provide technical solutions for intricate identity and authentication challenges.

• Conduct enterprise access certification assessments, assist with compliance audits, and perform identity risk evaluations across multi-cloud platforms.

• Update identity protocols, establish scalable access policies, and automate identity lifecycle functions through coding and API integrations.

• Collaborate with Cloud Engineering, IT Infrastructure, Compliance Officers, and Security Architects.

• Report directly to the Identity & Access Management Manager.

• Guide junior engineers in IAM best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) or IT Security engineering.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Proven experience in architecting and managing enterprise SSO, MFA, and federated identity protocols (SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect).

• High-level expertise in directory service administration, workflow automation scripting, and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

• Demonstrated hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding and development tools (e.g., AI coding assistants, LLM-based automation) to enhance scripting, automation, or documentation tasks.

• Relevant certifications like CISSP, Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM), or vendor-specific credentials are preferred.

• Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions is preferred.

• Background in designing identity security solutions for multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is preferred.
