Senior IAM Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, implement, and integrate Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems and solutions.

• Safeguard information resources from unauthorized access, inappropriate use, disclosure, damage, and loss.

• Identify, analyze, and rectify weaknesses in system design.

• Assist team members in troubleshooting issues related to Identity, Access, and Directory Services.

• Respond to relevant system and security breaches promptly.

• Implement necessary security controls to protect the organization's data and infrastructure.

• Lead vulnerability testing and identification efforts across networks and systems.

• Report findings and communicate effectively with pertinent organizational departments.

• Assess security requirements and establish best practices and standards.

• Design, implement, maintain, oversee, and enhance security measures to protect data, systems, and networks.

• Manage breach responses when necessary.

• Troubleshoot security incidents and issues.

• Conduct or supervise testing and scans to detect vulnerabilities in assigned systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.

• Minimum Required Experience: 4 years.

• Strong expertise with Windows, Unix, and Linux servers.

• Experience in IAM design, architecture, implementation, and maintenance.

• Advanced hands-on knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, and Azure/Entra.

• Preferred working knowledge of Delinea/Thycotic Suite, Okta, and Certificate Authority (KeyFactor preferred).

• Familiarity with managing cloud technologies such as GCP, AWS, and OCI is preferred.

• Understanding of SSO, MFA, Resource Provisioning, RBAC, Access Request, and Certification.

• Knowledge of authentication, federation, and identity management technologies, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, SCIM, U2F/UAF/FIDO2, HOTP, and TOTP.

• In-depth understanding of HTTP(S), TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, cryptographic protocols, and certificate services.

• Familiarity with REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML web service APIs, protocols, and standards.

• Experience with PowerShell.

• Understanding of business processes, internal control risk management, IT controls, and related standards.

• Comprehension of complex business and information technology management processes.

• Capability to manage project scope, schedule, status, and documentation.

• Ability to mentor, train, and support Associate IAM Engineers.
