Senior IaaS Platforms Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define the target architecture and roadmap for IaaS services across private, public, and hybrid cloud environments.

• Establish service catalogs, reusable infrastructure patterns, tenancy models, quotas, policy controls, and lifecycle standards.

• Guide the integration of compute, networking, storage, IAM, security, monitoring, configuration, and service-management capabilities.

• Advocate for infrastructure as code, automated provisioning, immutable patterns, and the creation of repeatable environments.

• Specify requirements for availability, resilience, backup, disaster recovery, observability, support, and service-level performance.

• Establish security, compliance, resource governance, tagging, consumption management, and cost allocation guardrails.

• Lead the onboarding, migration, adoption, and continuous improvement of platforms across engineering and application teams.

• Measure provisioning time, adoption rates, reliability, utilization, incident trends, and costs to showcase the platform's value.
