Senior HSE Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee the development, evaluation, and execution of safety plans, procedures, and technical outputs.

• Offer expertise and guidance to junior safety professionals.

• Ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulatory standards.

• Engage in and lead comprehensive safety reviews related to operational risks and intricate processes.

• Organize and conduct training sessions on safety protocols, regulatory updates, and risk mitigation strategies.

• Perform and document site inspections, hazard evaluations, and root cause analyses for incidents.

• Recognize patterns and suggest enhancements to minimize risks and improve safety performance.

• Partner with project teams, engineering, operations, and leadership to incorporate safety throughout all phases of work.

• Remain informed about industry best practices, regulatory developments, and emerging safety-management technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline (required).

• Master’s degree or advanced education in safety/management (preferred).

• At least 7–10 years of progressive SHE experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a multi-site or regional management role.

• Strong understanding of safety programs within manufacturing, construction, utilities, or service sectors.

• Proven experience in training, conducting audits, performing root cause analysis, and implementing hazard controls.

• Experience in implementing and supporting Process Safety Management (PSM) is preferred for manufacturing positions.

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification is mandatory.

• Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST) certification is required.

• Occupational Health & Safety Technician (OHST) certification is necessary for manufacturing and service positions.

• OSHA 30-Hour Certification is required.

• First Aid/CPR Certification is required.

• Additional certifications, such as ASP, CESCP, or CIH, are advantageous.
