This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.
• Oversee the HR technology portfolio and roadmap in collaboration with HRIS leadership, HR business partners, and stakeholders.
• Direct cross-functional projects involving Workday and various other HR technology solutions.
• Manage and execute Workday system administration tasks, including configuration, business processes, security and compliance, notifications, data and configuration migration, and knowledge transfer.
• Lead the planning, support, and execution of user acceptance testing cycles.
• Identify and document pertinent test scenarios and test cases.
• Guide junior HRIS Analysts and provide functional support for designated Workday modules.
• Implement process enhancements and policy modifications to boost efficiency and improve user experience.
• Collaborate with the business and Functional Centers of Excellence (CoEs) to analyze issues and data and leverage Workday to improve services.
• Engage in and lead sessions for gathering project requirements.
• Create documentation such as business process flow diagrams, data flow diagrams, data definition documents, decision trees, logic diagrams, requirements documents, and user experience flows.
• Work with implementation readiness teams to evaluate user needs and prepare teams for changes in processes and tools.
• Support and advance the HRIS technology portfolio and roadmap.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, HR, HRIS, Business, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience.
• Over 8 years of experience in Workday HRIS administration and configuration.
• More than 8 years of experience collaborating with business stakeholders in a cross-functional environment.
• Proficient understanding of HR systems and processes with a history of implementing HR solutions.
• Familiarity with employee life cycle transactions, including new hire onboarding, leaves, employee benefits, terminations, etc.
• In-depth knowledge of HRIS database design, structure, functions, and processes.
• Experience with database tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Advanced technical skills to create, modify, and optimize complex Workday business process workflows and system rules.
• Experience with executing EIB loads and developing multi-layered reports.
• Capability to triage, troubleshoot, and resolve a high volume of daily user tickets.
• Experience in testing system patches, validating routine updates, and conducting data integrity audits.
• Ability to transform ambiguous requirements into well-structured system processes.
