Senior Healthcare SaaS Implementation Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee intricate healthcare SaaS implementations from the initiation phase to completion, ensuring projects adhere to timelines and remain within defined scope.

• Create and uphold project plans, milestones, timelines, as well as identify risks, issues, and dependencies.

• Manage project scope and customer expectations, including adjustments and escalations throughout the implementation process.

• Facilitate customer meetings and communications, engaging with senior and executive stakeholders.

• Coordinate efforts among clinical, engineering, product, and customer teams across various implementation workstreams.

• Supervise implementation readiness, cutover planning, go-live activities, and post-launch hypercare efforts.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to resolve integration challenges and address product gaps impacting customer deployments.

• Monitor project performance and contribute to enhancing implementation processes, playbooks, templates, and the utilization of AI tools.

• Assist in the transition from Implementation to Customer Success by ensuring a thorough customer handoff.

• Mentor and act as a resource for other Implementation Project Managers, especially in complex or at-risk engagements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience overseeing software implementations or complex technical projects, ideally within the healthcare sector.

• Proven experience leading healthcare SaaS implementations for provider, clinical, or health IT organizations.

• Demonstrated experience managing large, complex, or multi-site implementations involving numerous stakeholders and workstreams.

• Strong project management capabilities, encompassing scope, risk, dependency, timeline, and stakeholder management.

• Familiarity with healthcare data structures and integration technologies such as HL7, FHIR, and APIs.

• Experience in HIPAA-regulated healthcare environments, with an understanding of healthcare data privacy requirements.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with customers and senior-level stakeholders.

• Proven ability to mentor, coach, or support fellow project managers.

• Experience in a fast-paced startup or healthcare technology environment is preferred.

• PMP certification and proficiency in AI tools are preferred.
