Senior Healthcare Data Analyst – Revenue Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Generate reports and conduct analysis to support Lucet's clinical and operational performance.

• Convert evaluation questions into analytical frameworks.

• Create analytic datasets and generate relevant data summaries.

• Perform valid data comparisons and execute statistical tests.

• Oversee analytics for Medicare Advantage and commercial risk adjustment initiatives.

• Identify Hierarchical Condition Category (HCC) opportunities and assess coding gaps and suspicious logic.

• Assist in chart reviews and validate encounter and claims data.

• Assess and track the performance of risk adjustment programs.

• Deliver insights that promote accurate documentation, compliant coding, and enhanced financial and clinical outcomes.

• Collaborate with teams in clinical strategy, care management, coding, compliance, provider engagement, and operations.

• Identify target demographics and outline intervention cohorts.

• Create actionable reporting and dashboards.

• Analyze member populations and propose strategies, programs, and service offerings.

• Assess the financial implications of contracts, RFPs, RFIs, and strategic initiatives.

• Analyze and present operational, clinical, and financial data to support organizational goals and data-driven decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.

• Over 5 years of experience in a similar position within a healthcare payer or provider organization.

• Knowledge of regression, propensity matching, analysis of variance, and other standard statistical techniques.

• Proficient in database query languages such as SQL or SAS.

• Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis, extraction, and manipulation.

• Experience utilizing Tableau or PowerBI for data visualization.

• Background in analytic automation, including scripting or macros.

• Experience with enterprise data warehouses and exposure to commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid claims data.

• Capability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documentation and financial data.

• Skills to present information effectively in small-group settings with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Proficiency in performing complex arithmetic and intermediate algebra for spreadsheets and reports.

• Advanced skills in graphical reporting.

• Ability to pass necessary background checks and a 10-panel drug screening at the time of hire and throughout employment.

• Must have high-speed internet service with at least 20 Mbps download, 5 Mbps upload, and a maximum latency of 100 ms, installed prior to start date.

• A quiet workspace with minimal background noise for calls is required.

• Willingness to travel by air and stay overnight when necessary for business purposes.
