This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Carry out contracting activities throughout the lifecycle for moderately complex healthcare contracting projects.
• Create, review, and manage contracts by utilizing established templates, playbooks, and guidance.
• Oversee contract execution, documentation, and updates to systems.
• Conduct payment processing activities for assigned projects.
• Examine invoices and expenses for accuracy and conformity with contractual terms.
• Address discrepancies and guarantee timely completion of payments.
• Manage incoming requests and direct work according to defined processes.
• Organize assigned tasks to fulfill service levels and deadlines.
• Provide informal mentorship to less experienced team members.
• Conduct healthcare compliance checks and ensure thorough documentation.
• Identify and escalate risks, exceptions, and non-standard situations.
• Collaborate with Legal, Sourcing, Finance, Accounts Payable, and Compliance departments.
• Communicate requirements and address stakeholder inquiries.
• Assist in resolving recurring operational issues.
• Identify opportunities for workflow and efficiency improvements.
• Contribute to process enhancements and audit activities.
• A Master’s degree, or a Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant resource management, paralegal, contracting, and/or financial accounting experience, or an Associate’s degree with 6 years of related experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 8 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of legal, research, and/or clinical development within the biopharmaceutical sector, along with familiarity with medical and scientific terminology.
• Experience in finance, resource, and/or budget management.
• Proficiency in analytics software such as Microsoft Access, Spotfire, Tableau, and Smartsheet.
• Familiarity with document management applications, portfolio planning tools, and financial systems including Planisware, Veeva, SAP, and Ariba.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience collaborating with virtual teams and utilizing collaborative tools and platforms.
• Ability to thrive in a highly cross-matrixed environment.
• Strong planning and project management skills.
• Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple high-priority projects and minimal supervision.
