
Senior Global Service Center Equipment Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for equipment used across Global Service Centers globally.
• Diagnose equipment problems and implement corrective measures to reduce downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
• Identify, source, and coordinate the ordering and shipment of replacement components.
• Collaborate with equipment suppliers to resolve technical challenges and coordinate repairs, upgrades, and service activities.
• Assist with the installation, qualification, validation, and upgrades of supplier-provided equipment.
• Manage equipment modifications and enhancements.
• Develop and execute plans for equipment acceptance and operational readiness.
• Provide technical ownership and support for customized FormFactor service and repair equipment, including PC URS, SAT, PAT, and SDRT.
• Support new equipment builds, global installations, startups, qualifications, validations, upgrades, modifications, and ongoing improvements.
• Conduct user training and maintain technical documentation.
• Create and deliver training on equipment operation, troubleshooting, safety, and preventative maintenance.
• Educate Global Service Center personnel on equipment best practices and standard operating procedures.
• Facilitate training pertaining to Assembly & Test (A&T) process enhancements and equipment upgrades.
• Monitor and manage Capital Authorization Request (CAR) activities.
• Coordinate the procurement, shipment, installation, and deployment of approved capital equipment.
• Maintain records of equipment inventories and lifecycle tracking.
• Perform audits of Global Service Center equipment covering conditions, utilization, spare parts, repair processes, preventative maintenance, and safety/regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and standardization.
• Drive initiatives for corrective and preventive actions based on audit findings.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement efforts.
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree with no experience; or equivalent work experience.
• Experience or knowledge related to clean room environments.
• Strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Commitment to continuous improvement.

• Experience with equipment installations.
• Skills in equipment maintenance.
