Senior Geotechnical Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Montana.

📋 Description

• Lead the safety initiatives for the team and advocate for pre-task planning across all projects.

• Oversee and enhance project quality standards and methodologies.

• Ensure consistent quality benchmarks for project and proposal submissions.

• Manage project-related risks in alignment with company guidelines.

• Offer senior-level technical guidance for routine, unique, and complex assignments.

• Develop initial designs and investigative strategies for major project phases, or take on overall engineering responsibility for moderately scoped projects.

• Plan, schedule, execute, and coordinate engineering tasks that involve conventional methodologies and complex design requirements.

• Evaluate intricate and innovative investigations, supervising the analysis and recommendations presented in client reports.

• Facilitate technical training and make informed decisions based on cutting-edge technological challenges.

• Provide leadership in marketing, sales, and business development efforts.

• Mentor less experienced engineers and technical support staff.

• Act as a Terracon Authorized Project Reviewer.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

• A minimum of 8-11 years of relevant experience.

• Status as a Terracon Authorized Project Reviewer is mandatory.

• A Master’s degree in Engineering is preferred.

• A valid driver's license with an acceptable violation history may be necessary.
