This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Design, develop, and execute scalable AI and Generative AI solutions that align with business and product needs.
• Construct and productionize applications powered by LLMs, along with intelligent automation systems and AI-driven workflows.
• Collaborate directly with customers, product teams, and internal stakeholders in the role of a Forward Deployment Engineer.
• Convert vague business challenges into actionable AI architectures, prototypes, and production-ready implementations.
• Create, test, deploy, and optimize AI models and applications across both cloud and enterprise settings.
• Integrate foundational models and LLM APIs into scalable applications, ensuring performance, reliability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
• Assess emerging Generative AI technologies, frameworks, and models for applicable business use cases.
• Diagnose model and application issues to enhance system quality, latency, scalability, and accuracy.
• Work collaboratively with software engineers, data scientists, product managers, and other stakeholders to provide comprehensive AI solutions.
• Develop reusable components, APIs, tools, and frameworks that expedite the deployment of AI applications.
• Set up evaluation, monitoring, and testing strategies for AI and LLM-based systems.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, model orchestration, and enterprise AI deployment.
• 5–13 years of experience in software engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related technical fields.
• Extensive hands-on experience in developing AI and Generative AI applications.
• Strong comprehension of Large Language Models (LLMs), foundational models, prompt engineering, model APIs, and AI application architecture.
• Demonstrated success in transitioning AI solutions from prototype stage to production.
• A robust Forward Deployment Engineering mindset with the capacity to engage directly with users or customers to swiftly create solutions that meet their needs.
• Solid programming skills and software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience in designing scalable, reliable, and maintainable AI-powered systems.
• Capability to independently investigate technical challenges and provide solutions in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities, especially when working with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Familiarity with LangChain or similar LLM orchestration frameworks.
• Practical experience in building Agentic AI systems, autonomous workflows, or AI agents.
• Background in implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
• Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, and document processing techniques.
• Awareness of AI evaluation frameworks, observability, guardrails, and monitoring of LLM applications.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms and modern deployment methodologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
• Exposure to multi-agent architectures, tool calling, function calling, and workflow orchestration.
