This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Participate in the creation of a cutting-edge first-person VR flight simulation experience using Unreal Engine 5.
• Develop authentic simulation systems, engaging environments, and user-friendly interactions.
• Design virtual spaces, prototype interactions, and enhance user experiences while maintaining a balance between realism, usability, and immersion.
• Lead the technical execution across gameplay systems, animation, object interactions, physics, user interface, C++, and Blueprint development.
• Integrate and manage game assets, interactive objects, and technical content workflows.
• Troubleshoot, profile, and optimize intricate projects for improved performance and stability.
• Offer technical guidance and mentor fellow engineers.
• Contribute to the establishment of technical best practices, architectural strategies, and development planning.
• Work collaboratively with designers, artists, technical artists, and production teams.
• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Unreal Engine Engineer, showcasing a strong history of delivering high-quality technical solutions across various aspects of game development.
• Expert-level skills in Unreal Engine 5, C++, and Blueprint scripting.
• Capability to architect, develop, and sustain scalable gameplay and game systems.
• Experience in developing gameplay, player interactions, animation systems, user interface integration, and core game functionalities within a production setting.
• Strong comprehension of physics systems and simulation methodologies.
• Experience in integrating and supporting game assets, interactive objects, and technical content workflows.
• Advanced skills in debugging, profiling, and optimization.
• Ability to provide technical guidance, mentor fellow engineers, and contribute to the establishment of technical best practices, architectural strategies, and development planning.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Nice to have: Experience in developing VR titles using Unreal Engine.
• Nice to have: Experience with first-person experiences, vehicle gameplay, simulation titles, or flight simulation projects.
