Senior C#/Unity Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the development of essential game systems and features, overseeing the process from technical design to implementation and delivery.

• Assume complete ownership of technical areas and features.

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and enhance game performance, stability, memory efficiency, and responsiveness across various mobile devices.

• Create and fine-tune experiences for both iOS and Android platforms.

• Recognize technical bottlenecks and implement solutions that enhance game quality, performance, and scalability.

• Utilize AI tools for coding, debugging, research, documentation, and problem-solving tasks.

• Collaborate with the CTO, Product team, and other disciplines to translate product objectives and player requirements into effective technical solutions.

• Establish and uphold clean, manageable code while contributing to architectural design, engineering methods, and processes.

• Share expertise, engage in code reviews, and mentor fellow engineers as appropriate.

• Adjust to shifting priorities and deliver high-quality features and releases punctually.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in game development, with hands-on involvement in building and launching mobile games.

• Extensive expertise in Unity3D and C#.

• Profound understanding of game development patterns, architecture, and engineering best practices.

• Demonstrated experience in developing and optimizing Unity games for iOS and Android platforms.

• Significant experience in profiling and optimizing mobile game performance.

• Strong sense of ownership, with the ability to take issues from identification through to resolution and delivery without constant supervision.

• A practical and analytical approach to tackling technical challenges.

• Comfort in a rapidly changing environment with evolving priorities and requirements.

• Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar technologies in everyday development.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and cross-functional partners in English.
