Senior Functional QA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and gain a thorough understanding of the US project scope and technology.

• Develop detailed test cases employing modern AI agents.

• Execute test cases to verify optimal performance of web applications.

• Identify valuable test case candidates for automation and generate test scripts using AI.

• Collaboratively create, manage, and prioritize defects with relevant stakeholders.

• Assist the test lead by actively engaging in team activities and prioritizing tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in core testing knowledge and quality assurance principles.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in test automation using Selenium.

• Proficiency in programming languages, particularly with a strong emphasis on Python.

• Extensive knowledge of UI, backend, and API testing methodologies.

• Significant experience with version control systems, especially GitHub.

• Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a commitment to agile delivery.

• In-depth understanding of the distinction between coding and engineering.

• Advanced proficiency in oral English.

• Advanced proficiency in Spanish.

• Preferred: Experience with Typescript, Robot framework, Azure Cloud, Pipelines & CICD.

• Preferred: Familiarity with cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants.
