Senior Fullstack Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop customer-centric features from the ground up, encompassing UI and interaction design, as well as supporting APIs, services, and data.

• Take full ownership of the API/service layer and data models in conjunction with the frontend development.

• Transition features from initial prototypes to polished, reliable general availability (GA) experiences and continue refining them.

• Collaborate with product and design teams to determine what should be built and the rationale behind it.

• Convert vague customer requirements into well-defined scopes.

• Deploy behind feature flags, instrument features, and conduct hypothesis-driven experiments.

• Ensure performance, accessibility, and data accuracy on public-facing surfaces.

• Leverage AI tools to accelerate prototyping, development, and review processes.

• Report to the Core Application engineering lead while working alongside product and design teams as an equal.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing customer-facing products, including features you have taken from concept to GA and managed thereafter.

• Proficient in handling tasks on both sides of the technology stack: React and TypeScript for frontend development, and Python for backend API/services.

• Capability to independently manage significant frontend and backend responsibilities.

• Strong product intuition: adept at transforming unclear needs into precise requirements, making sound decisions regarding scope, and providing valuable critical feedback on designs.

• Versatile experience in a startup environment: managed tasks across the stack and advanced them with minimal guidance.

• Comfortable working with live production data: proficient in understanding data models and flows, resolving customer or production issues, and utilizing data to guide product and engineering decisions.

• Knowledgeable in AI development tools and data-driven in determining future development priorities.
