Senior Fullstack Engineer, ReactJS, NodeJS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and develop user-facing features from start to finish, including React frontends, Node.js services, BFF layers, data stores, and third-party API integrations.

• Take ownership of technical direction, decompose ambiguous problems into deliverable increments, and make architectural choices.

• Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to critically assess requirements and define project scope.

• Ensure the availability of reliable databases and APIs for real-time automated decision-making.

• Deploy software utilizing Kubernetes clusters, Lambda functions, and industry-standard tools.

• Diagnose and resolve production issues by analyzing code, data, and system behaviors.

• Enhance security protocols to safeguard user data.

• Implement automated testing across the testing pyramid.

• Mentor mid-level engineers, provide feedback on code reviews, and support engineers across the technology stack.

• Take responsibility for project outcomes and contribute innovatively to product development.

• Enhance technical skills and gain insights into the technology business landscape in the US.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in building web applications commercially.

• Extensive experience with React, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

• Proven track record of designing and launching production services.

• Understanding of API design, microservices, and system design patterns.

• Hands-on experience with at least one relational database system, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.

• Familiarity with implementing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

• Capability to lead discussions on software design and architecture while articulating trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Demonstrated responsibility, accountability, and ownership in delivering high-quality results.

• Strong knowledge of effective security practices.

• Experience in enhancing the skills of other engineers through code reviews, pairing, and mentoring.

• Eagerness to learn and broaden skill sets.

• Proficient command of English, both written and spoken.

• Willingness to work across time zones, with occasional evening meetings required, averaging about 2 days per week.
