Senior Fullstack Engineer – Python, Javascript/Typescript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Take responsibility for enhancing BI integrations and developing semantic model converters.

• Create integrations for Excel, Google Sheets, and Looker.

• Develop converters that convert external semantic models into SML.

• Tackle intricate cross-protocol challenges involving MDX, DAX, and SQL.

• Ensure authentication, query precision, performance, and reliability across various data models.

• Investigate real-world customer issues.

• Enhance automated test coverage.

• Transform recurring issues into lasting solutions.

• Collaborate within a LATAM-based software company dedicated to staff augmentation for rapidly growing global clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python.

• Strong foundation in software engineering principles.

• Proven experience in building and deploying production software, preferably involving client integrations, plugins, or SDKs.

• Demonstrated experience with SQL.

• Familiarity with analytical query languages and semantics, including MDX and DAX.

• Experience with authentication and session management mechanisms, including OAuth and tokens.

• Proficient in unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

• Experience with tools like Jest and techniques for mocking requests and responses.

• Experience using contemporary AI-assisted development tools, with the ability to discern when AI can enhance development and when human oversight is necessary.

• Experience with semantic layers, OLAP, and BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Cognos, including BI drivers and connector ecosystems is a plus.

• Candidates must be located in Latin America.
