Junior Backend Developer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Further enhance our backend infrastructure focused on DataContentNaicer.

• Design and maintain backend services utilizing Python, including REST and GraphQL APIs.

• Integrate and manage data sources in various formats such as JSON, CSV, and XML.

• Construct and refine data pipelines and models, encompassing data cleansing and feature parameter selection.

• Collaborate with the frontend team to guarantee high-performance, stable, and well-documented APIs.

• Develop tests and perform code reviews.

• Actively participate in an agile team environment.

• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot backend components effectively.

• Conduct frontend quality assurance using React.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science or a similar qualification.

• Strong proficiency in Python, with experience in frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Django.

• Solid foundational knowledge of React.

• Experience in API design (REST or GraphQL).

• Familiarity with data formats including JSON, CSV, and XML.

• Basic understanding of database operations (both relational and NoSQL).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for contributing to a growth-oriented product team.

• Proficiency in both written and spoken German and English.

• Experience with data-processing libraries like Pandas and NumPy (preferred).

• Familiarity with automation, data pipelines, and ETL processes (preferred).

• Knowledge of cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or similar platforms (preferred).

• Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD, and testing frameworks (preferred).

• Interest in text automation, semantic data, ontologies, and related subjects (preferred).

• Registered residence and workplace in Germany.

• Cover letter in German required.
