Senior Fullstack Developer, Warehouse Management Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assist in designing the overall solution architecture.

• Implement features and customizations within the existing Warehouse Management System (WMS) and contribute to the development of the next-generation WMS.

• Produce high-quality code while adhering to stringent quality standards.

• Create integration solutions that connect the WMS with external services.

• Apply software development methodologies, including Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and automated testing.

• Ensure the WMS runs smoothly to support distribution center operations.

• Collaborate with operations and technology teams to identify enhancements and design new functionalities.

• Convert business requirements into technical design documentation.

• Troubleshoot and debug WMS solutions and resolve production issues in conjunction with WMS Administrators.

• Define project scopes and plans.

• Work alongside front-end and back-end developers.

• Conduct code reviews while providing guidance and mentorship.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient knowledge of C#, .NET, Ruby on Rails, and React, or other modern technologies.

• Experience in developing both frontend user experiences and backend services.

• Advanced configuration skills with SQL database queries and stored procedures.

• Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming principles.

• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.

• Eagerness to adopt modern development tools, including AI-assisted technologies.

• Background in writing automated tests.

• Understanding of sound design principles and clean coding practices.

• Experience with REST APIs and messaging queues.
