Senior Fullstack Developer – Backend Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and enhance software implementations for a product environment.

• Construct and sustain backend services and APIs utilizing .NET while also contributing to the React frontend.

• Create AI-enabled features, including LLM-powered functionalities, intelligent workflows, automation, recommendations, and integrations with AI platforms/APIs.

• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and unit-testable code.

• Develop and uphold unit tests using Test-Driven Development and other relevant testing methodologies.

• Incorporate Claude Code into the development process, including mandatory Claude-assisted code reviews.

• Engage in formal code reviews and implement improvements based on the feedback received.

• Produce software implementation designs and technical documentation.

• Develop architecture documentation, database schema diagrams, entity relationship diagrams, and sequence diagrams.

• Collaborate with SQL databases, including database design and data-related implementation.

• Participate in planning sessions and provide development estimates.

• Showcase completed implementations to stakeholders and integrate their feedback.

• Create software installation packages for customer workstations and servers when necessary.

• Identify opportunities to enhance code quality, development practices, performance, and maintainability.

• Contribute to technical problem-solving and the design of practical, scalable solutions.

• Collaborate with the Development Manager, Product Owner, Interaction Design team, and other stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of professional experience in software development.

• Extensive experience developing software products in a product development environment.

• Strong backend development expertise with .NET / C#.

• Proficient hands-on experience with React.

• Solid knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Strong SQL and database development capabilities.

• Familiarity with JSON and XML data structures.

• Experience with distributed architectures and asynchronous request handling.

• Strong understanding of software design patterns and contemporary software architecture.

• Experience with MVC and MVVM design patterns.

• Proven ability to write and maintain unit tests for personal code.

• Strong comprehension of software quality, maintainability, and development best practices.

• Proficient with Git or SVN.

• Experience in developing browser-based and responsive web applications.

• Practical experience with AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI, and/or Machine Learning.

• Familiarity with Claude Code, including AI-assisted development and code review processes.

• Strong technical documentation and written communication skills.

• Analytical and pragmatic approach to problem-solving.

• Must reside in Latam.
