Senior Fullstack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create dependable, scalable, and maintainable software for a critical enterprise platform.

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of product pricing across more than 100 global markets.

• Facilitate product catalog ingestion, cost modeling, pricing calculations, and the distribution of finalized pricing data to commerce and finance systems.

• Design a modern frontend using React.

• Construct and maintain Spring Boot microservices, REST APIs, event-driven integrations, batch processing, and shared domain libraries.

• Utilize AWS cloud-native infrastructure, including EKS, RDS, and S3, along with integrations for Google BigQuery and Apache Kafka.

• Implement trunk-based development and automated CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.

• Enhance the quality of code reviews and establish architectural patterns.

• Minimize technical debt and strengthen testing and observability practices.

• Guide and mentor engineers through technical discussions and provide mentorship.

• Create reusable AI prompts, project context, steering files, MCP configurations, and team workflows.

• Assist the team in adopting effective AI engineering practices while ensuring code quality, security, and sound engineering judgment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience.

• More than 3 years as a Senior Software Engineer or Technical Lead.

• Advanced proficiency in Java 17+ (preferably 21).

• Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate.

• Strong understanding of architecture, concurrency, performance, resiliency, and error handling.

• Significant frontend experience with React and TypeScript.

• Familiarity with modern state management solutions such as React Query, Zustand, or equivalent.

• Extensive knowledge of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, indexing, transactions, and migrations.

• Proven experience in designing and evolving production-grade REST APIs, encompassing versioning, authentication/authorization, pagination, validation, and backward compatibility.

• Experience with unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end testing.

• Familiarity with quality gates in CI/CD pipelines.

• Proficient with Git, trunk-based development, code reviews, automated CI/CD, and static analysis.

• Working knowledge of AWS cloud-native applications, including EKS/Kubernetes, RDS, and S3, or equivalent.

• Understanding of containerization, scalability, and observability.

• Practical experience with LLMs and AI products, including their development, integration, or operation in production environments.

• Demonstrated leadership potential and a genuine interest in leading a team through mentoring, providing technical direction, and enhancing engineering standards.
