Senior Full Stack Web/Mobile Application Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop new applications, websites, and features utilizing Next.js, React, React Native, Node.js, Laravel, and various other technologies.

• Strategize and execute tasks with AI agents through a specification-driven process.

• Assist in establishing AI development standards that junior engineers will adhere to.

• Serve as the Technical Lead on projects.

• Collaborate with the project manager to guide the project development team.

• Share accountability for the financial success of projects, including managing scope relative to budget and proactively identifying issues.

• Act as an escalation point for other engineers.

• Oversee architectural choices and maintain code quality.

• Mentor junior developers.

• Participate in high-level architecture planning and consult with the internal team regarding approach and resource allocation.

• Engage in database modeling, query optimization, logging, monitoring, and other advanced application requirements.

• Keep abreast of the latest development technologies and methodologies.

• Communicate directly with clients and project managers to grasp requirements, navigate specifications, make technical decisions, and deliver status updates and demonstrations.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience, ideally in a technical capacity and with agency exposure.

• Full Stack expertise with a range of frontend and backend tools and technologies, as well as their associated ecosystems.

• Experience in creating and interacting with backend REST and GraphQL APIs.

• Proficient in integrating third-party APIs.

• Practical experience utilizing AI agents for planning and development within a production codebase, including reviewing the outputs of the agent prior to deployment.

• Background in leading a development team or serving as a technical lead, including collaboration with a project manager on scope, estimates, and budgeting.

• Comfortable discussing requirements, technical trade-offs, and project progress directly with clients.

• Experience in building user experiences for applications and understanding user behavior and intent to create intuitive apps and websites.

• Familiarity with Git and GitHub.

• Experience with AWS services or other DevOps platforms is a plus.
