Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Create and develop contemporary eCommerce services on a scalable, secure, AI-driven platform.

• Produce high-quality front-end interfaces utilizing React or comparable frameworks.

• Implement and sustain APIs, data models, microservices, and background processes.

• Design and enhance SQL/NoSQL schemas, queries, and overall data efficiency.

• Take ownership of the entire development lifecycle, encompassing design, coding, code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation.

• Write clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code that adheres to engineering standards.

• Equip applications with logging, metrics, tracing, dependable alerting, and runbooks.

• Develop with a focus on security, privacy, and performance.

• Engage in on-call rotations and enhance reliability through post-incident analyses.

• Collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering leadership, and cross-functional teams.

• Contribute to engineering standards, developer tools, and continuous improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience, including the management of production systems.

• Practical experience with Node.js, React, and TypeScript, covering component architecture, state management, data-fetching patterns, forms, accessibility, profiling, and testing (e.g., React Testing Library, Playwright).

• Proficient in designing and implementing APIs, asynchronous patterns, and scalable back-end services.

• Strong grounding in web fundamentals: HTTP, caching, cookies, security headers/CSP, OAuth/OIDC, secure coding practices.

• Extensive experience with SQL and NoSQL database design, migrations, and performance optimization.

• Proven ability to deliver reliable, observable, and maintainable software while collaborating effectively with Product and Design teams.
