Senior Full Stack Java Developer – Critical Production Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Provide support for essential production applications

• Analyze and resolve P1/P2 incidents effectively

• Conduct advanced troubleshooting and determine root causes

• Execute emergency fixes and manage production deployments

• Oversee monitoring of applications and infrastructure

• Engage in war rooms and crisis management initiatives

• Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and business teams

• Contribute to improvements in performance and stability

• Assist in technology modernization and architectural evolution

• Document incidents and operational procedures

• Provide technical mentoring to junior professionals

• Support critical applications with a focus on high-severity incidents, SLAs, and the stability of enterprise services

• Take ownership of advanced troubleshooting, emergency fixes, ongoing enhancements, and technical support in both distributed and legacy environments

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Java 8+ backend development

• Familiarity with the Spring ecosystem: Boot, MVC, Data, and Security

• Knowledge of design patterns and best practices

• Experience with both monolithic and microservices architectures

• Understanding of REST APIs and SOA

• Expertise in messaging and enterprise integrations

• Working knowledge of IBM WebSphere and Oracle Service Bus

• Proficiency in Oracle Database 12c and complex SQL queries

• Experience with batch processes, IBM DataStage, and CA Workload Automation

• Skills in troubleshooting and log analysis within Linux/Unix environments

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, containers, and orchestration

• Knowledge of observability tools such as Elastic Stack, Kibana, Grafana, and APM tools

• Experience in frontend development with Angular and Node.js

• Familiarity with NGINX and Apache HTTP Server

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript

• Skills in REST API consumption

• Experience in frontend troubleshooting in a production environment

• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and deployment pipelines

• Knowledge of incident and problem management processes

• Skills in monitoring, observability, and performance analysis

• Experience with ITIL is a plus

• SLA- and KPI-driven work experience

• Familiarity with event-driven architecture is a plus

• Experience with operational automation tools is a plus

• Knowledge of OpenShift and Docker is a plus

• Understanding of application security is a plus

• Experience with disaster recovery is a plus

• Certifications in Java, cloud, or Kubernetes are a plus
