Senior Full Stack Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Join Bullla’s Regulatory Squad as a Senior Full Stack Developer.

• Gain experience with and work on legacy systems.

• Create new solutions leveraging modern architectural practices.

• Collaborate with the business team to gather requirements directly.

• Analyze and investigate issues to facilitate architecture discussions.

• Contribute to software architecture, systems integration, and messaging.

• Work with asynchronous communication, handle high volume, and manage reprocessing tasks.

• Act as the technical reference for the squad in the absence of a formal tech lead.

• Decompose deliverables, discuss trade-offs, and guide the team.

• Ensure the board is updated and motivate the team to maintain it as well.

• Automate processes within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with both legacy systems and modern architecture, including microservices, queues, and AI.

• Strong ability to investigate and analyze issues, contributing technical insights to architecture discussions.

• Experience gathering requirements from the business team without relying on formal documentation.

• Proficient knowledge of software architecture, Java, systems integration, and messaging.

• Familiarity with asynchronous communication, high volume, and reprocessing methodologies.

• Experience with both relational and non-relational databases.

• 6–7+ years of experience working with Java.

• Knowledge of Spring, microservices, and front-end fundamentals.

• Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog is advantageous.

• Experience in automating team processes is a plus.

• A proactive and autonomous approach to work.

• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to highlight urgent matters promptly.

• Capable of serving as a technical reference by presenting trade-offs, breaking down deliverables, and providing team direction.

• Demonstrate ownership by keeping the board updated and engaging the team in this practice.
