Senior Full Stack Engineer – React.js, React Native

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with business leaders to gain insights into business challenges, product opportunities, customer requirements, and operational issues.

• Convert high-level and vague business needs into practical, scalable technical solutions.

• Design, construct, test, implement, and refine solutions across web, mobile, backend services, APIs, databases, and integrations.

• Create and maintain applications using React.js and React Native.

• Develop, build, and sustain backend services and APIs that support the platform's evolving requirements.

• Establish and uphold integrations with third-party platforms, partners, and external services.

• Take ownership of technical decisions throughout the development lifecycle while balancing speed, reliability, scalability, security, and long-term maintainability.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of platform architecture and overall technical health.

• Assist with cloud infrastructure, deployments, application performance, and production troubleshooting.

• Discover opportunities to automate internal and operational processes through technology and integrations.

• Utilize AI-powered development tools and contemporary engineering practices to enhance development speed and productivity.

• Continuously refine solutions based on real-world usage, customer feedback, and changing business needs.

• Recognize when additional specialized technical expertise or resources are needed to support platform expansion.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 8 years of professional experience in Software Engineering, including more than 5 years of hands-on experience in building and delivering full-stack or end-to-end software solutions.

• Strong practical experience in developing production web applications with React.js.

• Solid hands-on experience in developing and maintaining production mobile applications using React Native.

• Experience in designing, building, and maintaining backend services and APIs with modern technologies.

• Familiarity with relational and/or non-relational databases, including data modeling, performance, and optimization.

• Experience in designing and implementing third-party integrations and managing data flows across various systems.

• A strong grasp of software architecture and practical technical decision-making.

• Experience with AWS or similar cloud environments, supporting cloud-based applications in production.

• Knowledge of CI/CD, deployments, monitoring, debugging, and production troubleshooting.

• Experience in startup, scale-up, or high-growth settings with broad technical ownership and shifting priorities.

• Ability to independently drive business or product challenges from concept through design, implementation, deployment, and iteration.

• Capability to balance speed and experimentation with scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability.

• Experience working directly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and the ability to challenge assumptions as necessary.

• Practical experience using AI-powered coding and development tools to enhance development, testing, debugging, and delivery workflows.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, ownership, communication, and collaboration skills.

• Advanced proficiency in English (C1 or equivalent).
