Senior Data Tech Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Offer technical direction to the Data Engineering team, steering technical choices and ensuring top-notch deliverables.

• Establish and refine the data architecture for the solution.

• Create strategies for data ingestion, integration, and transformation from various sources.

• Oversee the transition of data from SharePoint to SQL Server.

• Define and implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, and Gold).

• Design transactional and analytical layers to unify data across different Supply Chain domains.

• Direct the development and enhancement of semantic models and Power BI solutions.

• Ensure adherence to best practices for data quality, performance, governance, and scalability.

• Collaborate directly with the client to comprehend business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

• Serve as a liaison between business, architecture, data, and development teams.

• Provide technical mentorship to Data Developers and assist in the technical advancement of the team.

• Centralize and transform scattered Supply Chain data into a robust, scalable data platform that supports business operations and key performance indicators.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Data Engineering and Data Architecture.

• Demonstrated experience in providing technical leadership for data teams.

• Strong expertise in designing data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and multi-source data integrations.

• Familiarity with Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, and Gold).

• Proficient knowledge of SQL Server and SQL.

• Practical experience with Python for data engineering and processing.

• Hands-on experience with Databricks and Azure.

• Understanding of data modeling and semantic models.

• Experience with Power BI.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Advanced English proficiency for communication in a corporate and international context.

• Spanish proficiency is a plus.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Apps and Power Automate, is a plus.

• Knowledge of SAP and SAP data integration is advantageous.

• Experience or understanding of Supply Chain processes is a plus.
