Senior Full-Stack Engineer, .NET, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop software implementation design documentation.

• Create software unit tests employing Test Driven Development practices.

• Generate software installation packages for both workstations and servers.

• Write source code that aligns with design specifications and unit-testing standards.

• Engage in code reviews and adjust code based on feedback from reviews.

• Provide effort estimates during the planning phase of software implementation.

• Take part in implementation review sessions and showcase software implementations to stakeholders.

• Deliver software source code, unit tests, and installation packages.

• Create architecture documents, database schema diagrams, entity relationship diagrams, and sequence diagrams.

• Collaborate with the development manager and product owner to execute software designs.

• Utilize modern development tools to produce functional, high-quality, well-documented, and unit-testable software.

• Maintain project information and artifacts in line with the Development Framework.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in software development, particularly in full-stack application development.

• Demonstrated experience in building scalable backend services and modern web applications from scratch.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native application development.

• Advanced expertise in C#/.NET development.

• Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs, backend processes, and system integrations.

• Solid understanding of SQL databases and data modeling.

• Experience with Cosmos DB or other NoSQL databases is strongly preferred.

• Substantial frontend development experience utilizing React and contemporary web technologies.

• Familiarity with application architecture, system design, and planning of technical solutions.

• Capability to conduct development testing, troubleshoot issues, and independently resolve bugs.

• Experience collaborating closely with Product Owners and taking part in requirements gathering, estimation, and sprint planning.

• Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to provide clear updates on progress and work effectively within a team.

• This is a 3-month contractor engagement with no assurance of extension beyond this period.
