Senior Full-Stack Engineer, Go, Angular

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design and improve a next-generation clinical technology platform

• Collaborate with the team on innovative ideas, best practices, and strategies for both front-end and back-end development

• Create and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code in JavaScript and Go

• Develop applications using GoLang and Angular

• Implement Web APIs utilizing REST

• Identify and address bottlenecks and bugs

• Ensure code quality, organization, and automation are maintained

• Support Scrum/Agile development methodologies, including sprints, standups, retrospectives, planning, pointing, and grooming

• Engage in the hiring process as a senior team member by participating on interview panels

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of substantial hands-on experience in designing and developing both front-end and back-end applications for web-based systems

• More than 3 years of experience working with Go

• Familiarity with Go router libraries such as Gorilla Mux, Chi, or comparable options

• Strong understanding of concurrency principles and goroutines

• Knowledge and experience in working with microservices architecture

• In-depth understanding of system design and data structures

• Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB

• Proficient in Angular 2+ and contemporary UI development frameworks

• Experience utilizing modern JavaScript features alongside TypeScript

• Skilled in creating and consuming RESTful APIs

• Familiarity with unit and integration testing

• Experience collaborating with Agile teams

• Proficient with code management systems such as Git

• Nice to have: Experience with Kafka

• Nice to have: Experience working with AWS
