Senior Full-Stack Engineer – Frontend-leaning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop robust, scalable, and thoroughly tested full-stack product features with a primary focus on the frontend.

• Leverage modern frameworks and our proprietary Design System.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Quality Assurance professionals, and Platform Core Engineers.

• Contribute to and enhance frontend architecture, backend services, tools, and the Design System.

• Enhance developer experience, performance, reliability, and maintainability throughout the stack.

• Write significant unit and end-to-end tests.

• Engage in discovery sessions, feedback rounds, and design critiques to refine product solutions.

• For the Senior role: take ownership across the stack and impact platform-wide decisions.

• For the Senior role: work collaboratively on complex UX challenges and ensure alignment between design and development.

• For the Senior role: manage and advance the proprietary Design System in partnership with the design team.

• For the Senior role: guide decisions on architecture and performance.

• For the Senior role: mentor and assist fellow engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in building product applications across the stack for the Senior position.

• Profound knowledge in frontend development.

• Proficiency in TypeScript.

• Familiarity with contemporary frontend frameworks.

• Ability to contribute to Node.js backend services.

• Experience with Design Systems.

• For the Senior position: experience in building or maintaining custom Design Systems.

• Knowledge of unit and end-to-end testing, including tools such as Vitest, Playwright, or similar.

• Understanding of UI/UX principles.

• Capability to create elegant, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity and translate loosely defined concepts into functional software.

• Experience in a startup or scale-up environment.

• For the Senior position: capacity to take ownership across the stack and influence platform-wide decisions.

• For the Senior position: ability to foster alignment between design and development.

• For the Senior position: skill in guiding architectural and performance decisions.

• For the Senior position: ability to mentor and support other engineers.

• Legal authorization to work in Spain or Portugal.

• Willingness to work remotely and travel to Berlin or other locations for quarterly team events.
