Senior Full-Stack Engineer – Frontend-leaning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop robust, scalable, and thoroughly tested full-stack product features with a strong emphasis on frontend development.

• Work collaboratively with Product Managers, Designers, Quality Assurance professionals, and Platform Core Engineers to deliver high-quality features swiftly.

• Contribute to and enhance the frontend architecture, backend services, tooling, and design system.

• Enhance the developer experience, performance, reliability, and maintainability throughout the stack.

• Create meaningful unit and end-to-end tests.

• Engage in discovery sessions, feedback rounds, and design critiques to shape product solutions.

• For Senior: assume full ownership across the stack and influence decisions at the platform level.

• For Senior: facilitate alignment between design and development while collaborating on complex UX challenges.

• For Senior: manage and enhance the in-house Design System in partnership with the design team.

• For Senior: guide decisions related to architecture and performance.

• For Senior: mentor and support fellow engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years (Senior) of experience in building product applications across the stack, with a strong frontend focus.

• Proficient in TypeScript.

• Comfortable working with modern frontend frameworks.

• Capable of contributing to Node.js backend services.

• Experience with Design Systems.

• For Senior: experience in building or maintaining custom Design Systems.

• Familiarity with unit and end-to-end testing tools (such as Vitest, Playwright, or similar).

• Understanding of UI/UX principles.

• Ability to create elegant, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces.

• Capability to navigate ambiguity and transform loosely defined concepts into functional software.

• Experience in a startup or scale-up environment.

• Nice to have: previous exposure to fintech or highly regulated sectors.

• Nice to have: experience with zod or other form validation tools.

• Nice to have: experience with data visualizations, such as tables and charts.

• Applicants must currently reside in Spain or Portugal and possess the legal right to work there.
