Senior Full Stack Engineer – C#/.NET, SQL Server, Angular

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Asia.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary technical contact for new client implementations in the Asia-Pacific region, focusing on Australia, Papua New Guinea, and Indonesia.

• Assist in client delivery from the initial scoping phase through to go-live.

• Define and prioritize client tasks in collaboration with the engineering manager.

• Work directly with enterprise client teams.

• Develop and maintain data imports and integrations with HRIS, ERP, access control systems, door-lock systems, and single sign-on solutions.

• Implement new features and enhancements to the platform for existing clients.

• Create end-to-end features utilizing Angular, REST APIs, and SQL Server stored procedures.

• Utilize Jira tickets and Claude Code for planning and executing merge-ready updates.

• Transition legacy reports into the web application and enhance slow-running queries.

• Automate repetitive engineering tasks using Claude Code whenever feasible.

• Serve as the initial technical responder for escalated production issues during business hours.

• Identify and resolve buggy deployments, slow reports, failed imports, scheduled jobs, and API performance concerns.

• Determine root causes of recurring issues.

• Maintain runbooks and provide documented handoffs to the Americas team.

• Review and authorize pull requests across backend, database, and Angular code.

• Leverage Copilot, Claude Code, and Codex to facilitate code reviews while making final merging decisions.

• Support production releases and resolve deployment challenges.

• Enhance the reliability and automation of database deployments across customer environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of professional experience in C# and .NET development, with a strong emphasis on backend skills.

• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including stored procedures, diagnosing slow queries, and creating production-safe scripts.

• Proven experience in building and maintaining REST APIs and service-oriented architectures, including WCF or similar technologies.

• Familiarity with Windows Server and IIS sufficient for deploying and troubleshooting services.

• Strong working knowledge of Angular and TypeScript.

• Experience in reviewing, approving, and merging pull requests.

• Practical experience with release management and CI/CD processes, including release branches, build and deployment pipelines, and hotfixes.

• Experience with debugging production issues within a large legacy codebase.

• Ability to read and understand existing code prior to making modifications.

• Production experience with Claude Code or Codex; preference for Claude Code experience.

• Proficient in written and spoken English.

• Capable of clearly conveying technical issues to customer IT personnel and non-engineers.

• Comfortable working independently with clients and recognizing when to escalate issues.

• Must reside in UTC+5 to UTC+10; UTC+8 is preferred.

• Regular availability for early-morning overlap with the Americas engineering team.

• Experience in tuning SQL Server performance or adding automated tests for legacy code is a plus.

• Familiarity with Azure and automating database deployments is a plus.

• Experience in writing project instructions or reusable skills for coding agents is a plus.

• Experience in developing business reports and data grids is a plus.

• Background in the hospitality, travel, mining, or booking systems industries is a plus.
