Senior Full-Stack Engineer – Backend, Frontend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop features from start to finish, encompassing backend APIs, database modifications, frontend UI, and deployment to production.

• Create and execute backend services for a multi-tenant SaaS platform.

• Design schemas, enhance queries, and structure data within relational databases.

• Construct efficient and visually appealing frontend features.

• Enhance performance throughout the entire stack.

• Compose unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

• Develop LLM-driven agentic workflows to assist users in identifying, comprehending, and resolving data issues.

• Upgrade agentic development systems, including agent instructions, skills, and testing feedback loops.

• Collaborate directly with product teams, designers, and customers to determine developmental priorities.

• Take ownership of features throughout their lifecycle and influence product design alongside the product manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience in a product-focused company.

• Proficient in Java, including REST APIs, database interactions, and asynchronous processing.

• Experience with TypeScript and a contemporary frontend framework; Angular is preferred.

• Strong grasp of frontend principles: intricate UIs, component architecture, state management, performance optimization, and responsive design.

• Proficient in SQL within a backend context, covering schema design, query optimization, and production migrations.

• Familiarity with MySQL and ClickHouse.

• Experience in testing, including end-to-end testing with tools like Cypress or Playwright.

• Strong architectural judgment and API design focused on consumer needs.

• Understanding of data flow and latency issues across the stack.

• Proficient in DevOps practices including containers, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and Linux.

• Experience in production environments utilizing AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar technologies.

• Ability to guide AI coding agents while upholding high quality standards.

• Capacity to work independently within a distributed, asynchronous team spanning over 12 countries.

• Fluent in English.

• Preferred: experience in multi-tenant SaaS at scale and within high-growth startups.

• Preferred: a keen eye for design.

• Preferred: proficiency in Python.

• Preferred: experience in integrating agentic workflows into products.

• Preferred: background in data quality, data management, data observability, or ML monitoring.
