Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

• Troubleshoot and enhance application and database performance

• Investigate existing systems and resolve complex technical challenges

• Collaborate with geographically distributed technical teams

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional software development experience

• In-depth knowledge of TypeScript for both frontend and backend development

• Extensive hands-on experience with React for production-level user-facing applications

• Significant hands-on experience with Express.js for backend development and API creation

• Strong background in SQL optimization, including analysis of complex queries and improving database performance

• Proficient in PostgreSQL and relational database design

• Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining REST APIs and backend services

• Familiarity with large, complex, or highly customized software systems

• Experience in modernizing, refactoring, or migrating legacy applications while preserving existing business functionality

• Capability to understand intricate existing business logic and translate it into clean, maintainable solutions

• Solid understanding of full-stack architecture, clean code principles, testing, and best practices in software engineering

• Experience in troubleshooting and enhancing application and database performance

• Ability to work autonomously, explore existing systems, and tackle complex technical issues

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with distributed technical teams

• Strong English communication abilities, with a minimum proficiency level of B2
