Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and take ownership of essential frontend and backend functionalities for ClickStack.

• Enhance debugging and monitoring processes for developers.

• Collaborate with open-source contributors as well as customers.

• Address community and customer issues and integrate their feedback into the product roadmap.

• Optimize performance of HyperDX and ClickStack across vast amounts of observability data.

• Create analytical tools to assist engineers in resolving production challenges.

• Expand the cloud-based observability platform to accommodate a growing customer base.

• Contribute to shaping the company culture in a rapidly evolving startup environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering, ideally in developing developer tools.

• Proficient in full-stack JavaScript development.

• Strong skills in TypeScript and Node.js.

• Experience with Next.js for frontend and Express for backend development.

• High proficiency in React.js.

• Skilled in SQL for generating queries on ClickHouse.

• Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

• Background in creating developer tools.

• Experience working with SDKs.

• A strong passion for open source and the developer community.

• Expertise in distributed systems and event ingestion pipelines.

• Experience with columnar databases.

• Basic knowledge of Python, Rust, or PHP for integration development.

• Experience in developer-focused design.

• Must be able to work in the location of employment; sponsorship evaluation will occur during the application process.
