Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and scale Checkbook's payment platform.

• Create and engineer outstanding web applications.

• Construct and deploy robust APIs that integrate with internal, partner, and customer systems.

• Ensure the security of applications and the integrity of data.

• Design and enhance large database schemas, queries, and objects.

• Create automation tools and strategies to guarantee the quality and stability of web applications.

• Keep up to date with web technologies, industry trends, and best practices.

• Manage projects from the architecture phase through to launch.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of experience with Python, Postgres, and frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js, Ember) for building robust web applications.

• Knowledge of Python web frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, and Django.

• Capability to convert business requirements into effective software solutions.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Background in fintech is advantageous, but not mandatory.
