Senior Full-Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop tools and services to assist developers in launching applications on Alpaca.

• Create and maintain Connect experiences using TypeScript and React, supported by Go services.

• Enhance the processes of application onboarding, testing, compliance review, approval, publishing, and management.

• Transform manual support and compliance tasks into clear, auditable self-service workflows.

• Design APIs and integrations for Alpaca's identity, account, trading, and market data systems.

• Take ownership of features from design to production while contributing to the team’s technical direction.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Compliance, Support, Partnerships, and Platform teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in building production-level full-stack applications.

• Proficient in TypeScript and React.

• Experience with Go or another contemporary backend programming language.

• Strong skills in SQL and relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL.

• Experience in designing REST APIs and integrating distributed services.

• Familiarity with OAuth, OIDC, or similar authorization frameworks.

• Proven history of delivering secure, user-facing features from start to finish.

• Excellent communication skills and sound judgment in situations with incomplete or ambiguous requirements.
