Senior Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Analyze and design integrations between distributed systems and their communication patterns.

• Architect resilient systems capable of handling high loads and recovering from failures utilizing caching, messaging, and circuit breakers.

• Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and process automation.

• Perform critical code reviews and foster the technical growth of the team.

• Assess trade-offs among timeline, cost, and quality while planning for the continuous modernization of systems.

• Develop and maintain RFCs, ADRs, and other architecture and project documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and best practices in software development.

• Proven experience with automated testing, including both unit and integration tests.

• Mastery of SOLID principles, Clean Code, and Design Patterns.

• Familiarity with developing and utilizing REST APIs, specifically with JWT and OAuth2 authentication.

• Advanced understanding of HTTP, Git, Docker, and Docker Compose.

• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Knowledge of observability practices, including monitoring, logging, and metrics.

• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.

• Extensive experience with NestJS, covering areas such as dependency injection (DI), Guards, Pipes, Interceptors, DTOs, and validation.

• Experience with Prisma or TypeORM and migration management.

• Automated testing capabilities using Jest or Vitest.

• Knowledge of performance optimization, including the Event Loop, Streams, Buffers, and Node.js application optimization techniques.

• Ability to design architectures that incorporate microservices, APIs, and serverless solutions.

• Experience in developing React applications with a focus on componentization and scalable architecture.

• Familiarity with Hooks, performance optimization, and state management using Context API, Redux Toolkit, or Zustand.

• Understanding of React Router or Next.js.

• Experience with Tailwind CSS, Styled Components, or CSS Modules.

• Proven track record in implementing tests with Jest and React Testing Library.

• Knowledge of accessibility (a11y), Design Systems, and Core Web Vitals.

• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), is an advantage.

• Practical knowledge of Express.js, middleware development, error handling, and Controller-Service architecture is a plus.

• Experience with microservices and messaging-oriented architectures is an added benefit.
