Senior Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable software solutions for both frontend and backend systems.

• Create reusable services, APIs, and shared business logic.

• Develop and sustain cloud-based applications and services.

• Design and oversee infrastructure and deployment solutions utilizing Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD practices.

• Develop and uphold automated testing solutions.

• Collaborate with architects, developers, and product teams to convert business requirements into technical solutions.

• Provide new platform capabilities.

• Engage in code reviews, technical discussions, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• Over 7 years of professional software development experience creating commercial software applications.

• Strong proficiency in developing modern frontend applications using React.

• Extensive backend development experience with Node.js, C#, and Python.

• Robust experience with AWS, including services such as Lambda, ECS, SQS, EventBridge, CloudFront, ALB, and related offerings.

• Proven expertise with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.

• Familiarity with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience utilizing Jest and Playwright for automated testing.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration abilities.

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools.

• Must currently reside in Canada.

• Must have legal authorization to work in Canada.

• Successful completion of a criminal, educational, and employment history background check.
