Senior Frontend Software Engineer – RBAC, Authorization

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and develop the next iteration of the authorization framework.

• Create multi-tier organizational structures, ensure workspace separation, and define resource-specific roles.

• Establish and maintain uniform authorization validations across both public and internal APIs.

• Develop tools and migration processes that allow for real-time updates to authorization models without causing downtime or disrupting customer experience.

• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Customer Identity teams to create user interfaces for permission management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in developing security platforms, access control systems, or foundational backend services at scale.

• Extensive understanding of RBAC/ABAC policy frameworks.

• Proficient in fine-grained permission enforcement.

• Experience with multi-tenancy isolation techniques.

• Familiarity with API key management.

• Knowledge of SAML/SSO implementations.

• Strong fundamentals in TypeScript and Node.js.

• Excellent schema design capabilities in PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.

• Proven experience in conducting live migrations of customer data.

• Background in building systems with high reliability, where failure is not an option.

• Experience in enterprise identity solutions, IAM security tools, zero-trust cloud infrastructures, or core authorization teams in prominent B2B SaaS organizations.
