Senior Frontend Engineer – React/Typescript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Take full responsibility for the comprehensive development of essential applications that drive a hybrid legal services platform.

• Create intricate, data-intensive views, real-time chat interfaces, and collaborative document surfaces.

• Utilize React, Redux Toolkit, and native WebSockets in your work.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to transform client requirements into scalable features.

• Independently manage features from conceptualization to production.

• Spearhead the ongoing migration to TypeScript.

• Uphold practical testing standards.

• Integrate vital third-party services to guarantee a seamless user experience.

• Shape the architecture as the codebase evolves and enhance code quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional frontend engineering experience, with profound expertise in React.

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and experience in leading or significantly contributing to a JS→TS migration within a live codebase.

• A solid understanding of state management patterns (Redux/Redux Toolkit or similar) and the trade-offs associated with various data-fetching strategies.

• Experience with real-time user interfaces (native WebSockets, streaming responses, or similar technologies).

• Familiarity with LLM-streaming user experience is advantageous given our product.

• Comfortable working with build tools (Create React App, Next.js) and understanding the benefits each provides.

• Practical testing instincts: you write tests that identify regressions, rather than merely increasing coverage metrics.

• Experience with component libraries (we utilize Ant Design and Tailwind) and crafting accessible, responsive user interfaces.

• Knowledge of production observability tools (Sentry) and product analytics (PostHog/Segment).
