Web Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with a dedicated team of engineers, designers, and marketing professionals.

• Create and refine growth-oriented user interfaces, focusing on styling, layout, and content-driven pages.

• Partner with content editors to enhance publishing workflows, schemas, and overall usability.

• Implement experiments and marketing features that facilitate user discovery and engagement with Cohere.

• Develop using Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind, including the Sanity schemas that support the website.

• Enhance site performance and reliability where it significantly impacts user experience.

• Utilize AI coding tools on a daily basis while taking ownership of and explaining merged code.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping production React/TypeScript applications.

• Proficient with Next.js and a headless CMS like Sanity, or able to learn quickly.

• Strong attention to detail regarding polish and performance.

• Comfortable collaborating with design and marketing teams.

• Capable of using AI coding tools while debugging, explaining, and supporting merged code.

• Bonus: a keen eye for design or motion.

• Bonus: a portfolio, GitHub profile, or previously shipped marketing projects.

• Familiarity with monorepos such as pnpm/Turborepo or Vercel is advantageous.
