Senior Frontend Engineer – React, TypeScript, Data Visualization

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain intricate, production-ready web applications utilizing React and TypeScript.

• Create interactive dashboards, data visualizations, visual editors, workflow builders, and/or node-based interfaces.

• Design and execute scalable frontend architecture and state management using Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or comparable technologies.

• Collaborate with product designers to build and manage a reusable component library/design system.

• Create efficient interfaces for extensive datasets, large lists, and intricate screens.

• Utilize D3.js or similar technologies to produce interactive data experiences.

• Implement unit and integration tests using Jest or analogous frameworks.

• Establish and maintain end-to-end tests employing Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.

• Detect and address frontend performance bottlenecks.

• Ensure that solutions are maintainable, scalable, accessible, and consistent.

• Work collaboratively with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and frontend engineers.

• Participate in frontend technical decisions, coding standards, architecture, and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in frontend engineering.

• Extensive hands-on experience with React and TypeScript in production settings.

• Deep understanding of React fundamentals and underlying behaviors, including rendering, reconciliation, component lifecycle, hooks, and performance considerations.

• Proven expertise in frontend state management at scale utilizing Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or similar solutions.

• Experience in developing complex, data-intensive web applications.

• Skilled in creating interactive visualizations, dashboards, visual editors, workflow builders, or node-based interfaces.

• Experience in designing and maintaining reusable component libraries or design systems.

• Strong knowledge of frontend performance optimization, especially with large lists, intricate screens, and extensive datasets.

• Proficient in writing unit tests with Jest or similar frameworks.

• Experienced in writing end-to-end tests with Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.

• Familiarity with D3.js or other data visualization libraries.

• Comprehensive understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG).

• Experience in working on enterprise SaaS or other complex business applications.

• Skilled in performance profiling and optimization of React applications.

• Familiarity with advanced UI patterns such as drag-and-drop, canvas-based interfaces, graph editors, or workflow builders.
