Senior Frontend Engineer – React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the frontend architecture and implementation of the product using React and TypeScript.

• Convert product designs and interactive prototypes into user experiences that are ready for production.

• Create frontend patterns for intricate multi-step workflows, encompassing forms, conditional logic, validation, autosave, resume, loading states, error handling, and recovery.

• Collaborate with backend engineers to define API contracts, data structures, error handling, and delineate client/server responsibilities.

• Develop component architecture, state-management patterns, routing strategies, form methodologies, and frontend conventions.

• Design secure, role-aware experiences tailored for clients and attorneys.

• Integrate AI-driven capabilities into product workflows.

• Oversee frontend performance, accessibility, responsive behavior, browser compatibility, and overall production quality.

• Implement testing practices for critical components and user workflows.

• Conduct code reviews, set frontend standards, and provide technical mentorship to frontend developers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in building React and TypeScript applications with complex user workflows in a production environment.

• Expertise in establishing frontend architecture for products with substantial application state and significant backend integration.

• Deep understanding of component architecture, state management, forms, routing, and sustainable frontend patterns.

• Experience in developing multi-step or workflow-oriented applications featuring validation, conditional logic, persistence, recovery, and clear error states.

• Knowledge of frontend authentication processes and role-aware interfaces, including controls mandated by backend services.

• Experience collaborating with backend engineers to define API contracts and data structures.

• Strong practices in accessibility, responsive design, browser compatibility, and frontend performance.

• Experience implementing automated frontend testing for essential components and user workflows.

• Ability to review code, set frontend standards, and offer technical guidance to fellow frontend developers.

• Capability to work independently as a Senior Frontend React Engineer on a greenfield product, making informed architectural decisions.

• Preferred: experience in designing frontend experiences for AI-enabled workflows.

• Preferred: experience in developing payment systems, client intake processes, or other state-sensitive workflows.

• Preferred: experience handling sensitive client data or working in regulated environments.

• Preferred: experience collaborating closely with product and design teams to transform prototypes into production applications.
