Senior Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of intricate frontend features across both web and mobile platforms.

• Design and enhance React and React Native frameworks, shared libraries, and robust abstractions.

• Identify and address issues related to rendering, state management, bundling, and runtime performance.

• Utilize TypeScript to clearly define behavior and prevent defects instead of merely suppressing type errors.

• Collaborate closely with product teams, backend engineers, and QA to transform complex requirements into straightforward user experiences.

• Uphold quality through code reviews, unit testing, end-to-end testing, and visual regression testing.

• Share expertise, mentor team members, and elevate the standards of frontend engineering.

• Operate within small, self-directed teams that follow a weekly release cycle, taking ownership from problem definition to production deployment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated ownership of production frontend systems developed using React or React Native and TypeScript.

• Strong understanding of React rendering, component boundaries, data flow, and state management.

• Proven ability to design maintainable frontend architectures and reusable abstractions.

• Hands-on experience in diagnosing performance issues in complex web or mobile applications.

• Strong testing judgment across unit testing, end-to-end testing, and visual regression coverage.

• Ability to structure problems clearly and articulate technical decisions and trade-offs effectively.

• Solid engineering fundamentals, good product judgment, and the confidence to learn new technologies.

• Depth of experience in one frontend ecosystem is more important than a superficial familiarity with every technology listed.
