Senior Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the implementation of new frontend features from Figma to production.

• Convert designs into production-ready code while maintaining a focus on spacing, typography, motion, and responsiveness.

• Manage frontend architecture for features, encompassing state management, data fetching, rendering performance, and test coverage.

• Create accessible and high-performance interfaces compatible across various browsers and devices.

• Ensure safe deployments using feature flags, A/B testing, instrumentation, and rollback strategies.

• Collaborate early with Design and Product teams to evaluate feasibility and clarify any uncertainties.

• Develop reusable React components within the shared design-system library.

• Adhere to design-system architecture, APIs, and documentation standards.

• Consistently apply design tokens and theming.

• Provide documentation for components, including usage guidelines, code examples, and Storybook stories.

• Perform code reviews that focus on component design, accessibility, and visual fidelity.

• Mentor fellow engineers through collaborative pairing.

• Advocate for the consistent utilization of the shared component library across web applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of professional experience in frontend engineering.

• A strong portfolio or GitHub showcasing frontend projects and UI craftsmanship.

• Proven track record of delivering production frontend features from start to finish and on time.

• Experience in daily collaboration with designers and product managers.

• Expert knowledge of React and Next.js.

• Proficiency in TypeScript is required.

• Solid understanding of design systems, design tokens, and component API design.

• Strong foundations in state management, data fetching, rendering performance/Core Web Vitals, and testing.

• Comfort with working from Figma designs and specifications.

• Familiarity with Storybook.

• Experience with at least one of CSS-in-JS, CSS Modules, or Tailwind CSS.

• Working knowledge of WCAG web accessibility standards.

• Ability to communicate clearly while articulating design and technical trade-offs.

• Comfort in contributing an independent viewpoint within an architecture led by someone else.

• Experience in both giving and receiving constructive feedback.

• Fluency in English is not specifically required.
