Senior Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create high-traffic user interfaces for enterprise e-commerce platforms utilizing JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue 3, and Nuxt 3.

• Implement significant frontend features to enhance user experience and improve conversion rates.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, QA engineers, and designers to deliver contemporary design systems and functionalities.

• Make architectural choices alongside the Tech Lead and assess emerging web technologies.

• Maintain high code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and active involvement in team retrospectives.

• Continuously enhance shop features and designs in an agile Scrum environment, primarily leveraging Nuxt 3 and Tailwind CSS.

• Ensure comprehensive quality assurance and precise design implementation using testing frameworks like Vitest and Playwright.

• Share knowledge and exchange insights actively within the internal tech community.

• Take ownership of enterprise-level e-commerce platforms with extensive reach.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience and deep expertise in frontend development.

• Practical experience with TypeScript and modern frameworks like Vue 3, Nuxt 3, or Node.js (or significant ReactJS experience coupled with a willingness to transition to Vue).

• Proficient in core web technologies, including HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.

• Hands-on experience with Tailwind CSS and a keen eye for accurate UI design implementation.

• Background in B2C e-commerce or experience within a fast-paced boutique agency environment.

• Excellent communication skills in English and a strong capacity to empathize with varying perspectives.

• Practical knowledge of automated testing tools such as Playwright, Jest, or Vitest.

• Initial experience with Vue Storefront or Scayle is a bonus.

• Experience with Redis is an advantage.
